When did people decide that James Franco was an in-demand author? Are people lining up to read a book by a guy who teaches a college course about himself?

Amazon has set the book industry on edge by starting a publishing unit that has snagged authors like Timothy Ferriss and James Franco.

If the publishing industry thinks it needs Franco to secure its future, I don’t know if the world needs the publishing industry anymore.

I’d like to thank everyone who came out on Friday for the double-bill show that Confab played with Upstate Escape. Both bands had a great time and escaped the show with minimal injuries. We even pulled out some new material, which we believe went well (and even if it didn’t, we would say it did), and we hope you enjoyed it. We’ll look forward to seeing you at the next show, which we plan on being the hugest show ever in the history of the world.
